Tolerance for Everybody
Goal 1: To help students learn ways of being more tolerant.
Objective
1: By November 16th (Tolerance day) about 200 students will be
taught 45 minute tolerance lessons held by native English-speakers.
Objective
2: 200 students will interact in activities, which will expose them to new
behaviors.
Objective 3: Everyone wishing will have the opportunity to visit additional lessons
connected with the themes of tolerance and global issues.
Goal 2: To make kids more tolerant of their
classmates to make school safer and more enjoyable.
Objective
1: 200 students will realize in these tolerance lessons the fault in their
behavior towards surrounding people through activities, which involve real life
examples of people hurt by intolerance.
Objective
2: 200 students will be taught techniques in how to stop thinking negatively
and acting aggressively towards others; and will be shown positive ways of
interacting with others.
Objective 3: 200 students will learn how to take into account other
people's thoughts, respect their opinions and to treat others with understanding.
Goal 3: To improve student’s English skills.
Objective
1: 200 students will improve their English –skills by speaking to native
speakers, which is a rare opportunity.
Objective
2: Students will perform all tasks and listen to the entire lesson in English
and will learn new vocabulary and practice understanding real life situations
in English.
Objective 3: Students will be involved in the discussions during which they will express
their points of view in English.
